Our Lady of Guadalupe represents Mary’s care for the poor, the disenfranchised, and those who are not privileged. She calls us to work together as her children so life can flourish even in difficult times, like roses in December. The feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe is December 12.

Each year between 18 – 20 million pilgrims visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City. The basilica, which houses St. Juan Diego’s tilma with the image of the Virgin is Christianity’s most visited sanctuary and one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in the world.
