STUDENT PRAYER CONTEST
Education for Justice is a premiere Catholic Social Teaching resource offering more than 2,500 resources designed to be used in classrooms, parish settings, and for personal formation. This prayer will be used as a resource on our site, featured during the month of April, and will be shared among our membership base worldwide.
Student Prize: an EFJ YETI mug and $30 for Ignatian Solidarity Network’s online store
Teacher Prize: We will offer one free year of Education for Justice for the teacher who shares this contest information with the student winner.
Rules: Write a prayer about an environmental issue that you care about and want to encourage others to engage in to bring about change in your community and the world (plastic pollution, environmental racism, fossil fuel divestment, clean water, etc.).
- Contestants must be currently enrolled in high school or college.
- Prayers must not exceed 300 words and must be submitted in a Google doc.
- Entries must include the contestant’s full name, email address, phone number, name of school, and the Google doc link.
- Winner must be able to work with ISN staff to collaborate on a video of the prayer when finished.
Deadline: Friday, March 21, 2025. Late entries will not be considered.
