St. Thomas the Apostle is the patron saint of architects, construction workers, and cooks. St. Thomas is nicknamed “Doubting Thomas” for his unwillingness to believe that the other Apostles has seen the resurrected Jesus, but after seeing Jesus and putting his fingers in the nail holes in Jesus’ hands, proclaimed his faith in the Divinity of Jesus.
