Center supports initiative that will encourage local farming and healthy eating

The Center of Concern, along with more than two dozen other national and local groups, signed a letter today in support of a $5 million dollars worth of funding to support schools’ access to healthy, locally grown foods. "This initiative not only promotes more healthy eating among children it also supports more sustainable methods of food production and distribution," said Peter O’Driscoll, Director of the Center’s Agribusiness Accountability Initiative.
