Conversations on Race in the Classroom: Gallery Walk

, , | | February 12, 2021

Conversations about race are more crucial now than ever, and it is important to know how to facilitate these conversations in a classroom. In this series, Justin White and Br. Ken Homan, S.J. share activities that they have used in the classroom to foster dialogue on race with students. These activities, while created for students, could be used with adult groups as well.

This gallery walk activity presents statistics about racial injustice from throughout history. Participants are invited to spend time with the statistics and reflect on how they are related to elements of Catholic Social Teaching.
