Advent Reflections – "Smell Like the Sheep"

Pope Francis’ exhortation,“smell like sheep,” frames our reflections for Advent, a time full of expectation and hope, especially when viewed from the margins, where the sheep live. Advent is a holy time defined by a Promise that The One Who Is To Come, who himself is the Lamb of God, born in a stable – will gather the flock, healing the brokenness, and bringing just and lasting peace.
