Media for Peace

This unit focuses on the media and covers the following topics: media literacy, “peace journalism,” and Pope John Paul II’s Message for the 37th World Communications Day, “The Communications Media at the Service of Authentic Peace in the Light of ‘Pacem in Terris’.” Also included are discussion questions and a list of resources for more information on media literacy and alternative media sources.
