Prayer Service for Black History Month

, , | | February 11, 2011

This four-page prayer service for Black History Month includes prayers, scriptural readings, and reflections on the principles of Catholic Social Teaching from leaders in the African American community.  We celebrate the promotion of positive values of our African American leadership through advocacy, through professional life, and through the arts.  These values echo the main principles of CST, and we pray that such values become respected by all.

Commemorate Black History Month in your classroom, parish, or community with activities, reflections, and prayers that span from civil rights history to current events.
