Pressing on Toward Kinship Discussion Guide
Pressing On is a reflection guide rooted in Fr. Greg Boyle’s keynote address at the 2025 Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice. Centered on the theme of kinship, the guide invites participants to consider what it means to stand with those on the margins and to press on together in hope, courage, and love. Drawing from the Teach-In’s long legacy of faith-fueled justice, this resource connects Fr. Boyle’s witness to the broader call of the Ignatian family to live a Gospel that is inclusive, nonviolent, and grounded in compassionate solidarity.
Designed for use in classrooms, parishes, and community settings, the guide includes a link to Fr. Boyle’s keynote and a set of discussion questions that encourage personal reflection and communal dialogue. Participants are invited to explore how kinship takes shape in daily life, how faith communities embody the marrow of the Gospel, and how laughter, belonging, and radical tenderness can become signs of God’s expansive love at work in the world.
