The United Nations

This two-page resource gives a brief background of the United Nations, along with a short history of its efforts to promote peace. Included are discussion questions, a prayer and two group activities, one of which involves the convening of a mock UN Security Council meeting in which group members, representing the 15 member nations, debate which actions should be taken in response to the current situation in Iraq.
