Fred Kammer, S.J., director of the Jesuit Social Research Institute, outlines four main themes of CST as presented in the Vatican’s Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church: human dignity, the common good, subsidiarity, and solidarity. He emphasizes that CST deals with both individual actions and structural change.
